Government

The Philippines is a Republic. The power is divided between three independent branches. The legislative power is the one in charge of creating and deleting laws. The executive power is the one in charge of managing and running the state, ruling public institutions and diplomatic relationships. The last one is the Judicial power, that is in charge of embracing the application of law and making sure it is applied. The official name of the country is Republika Ng Pilipinas.
