The Filipinos carved images of their gods, goddesses and ancestors in wood. They also played musical instruments like end-blown flutes, nose flutes, gongs, and others. Some of their seasonal celebrations and life rituals included certain instrumental music, songs, and dances. Most of their indigenius traditions got lost through the years, but some of the dance traditions have been preserved.  The Filipinos have a tradition rich in local and regional lore. They have a lot of myths and legends explaining things such as the origin of the world. One of their most famous dishes are Kinilaw, Shinigang, Kare-Kare and Adobo.
